I purchased Fireworx Stand. I get no sound on my iPad first generation.
I’m not sure exactly what is going on, but here are a couple of steps that should fix it…
- Let’s start with the obvious. I’m assuming that you checked that your iPads volume controls are turned up, and that there are no headphones attached.
- Try quitting Fireworx Stand, then relaunch it. Here’s how: Exit to the Home Screen. Double tap the Home button to bring up the multitasking applications view, then tap and hold on Fireworx Stand. After a moment or two the icons will jiggle, and a small Red “close” button will appear on it’s top left corner. Tap the small Red button to close the app. NOTE: This does NOT remove the app from your iPad.
- If that doesn’t work, try the step above, but quit all open apps before relaunching Fireworx Stand.
- If the problem still persists, make sure all apps are closed, then power off your iPad. This can be done by pressing and holding down the wake button until, “slide to power off” appears. After the screen goes black, power on your iPad by holding down the wake button for a moment.
